Prior to my rebirth in Christ in 2011, I was an entrepreneur absorbed by the pursuit of false idols. The Christianity that had been ingrained throughout my youth had morphed into one of “convenience and rationalization.” I behaved as a Christian when it was convenient, but rationalized my disobedience if it did not. My unrepentant pride allowed me to do so.

Blessedly, the Lord’s love was relentless. In a time of bitter anguish fully attributable to the poor exercise of my own free will, I was humbled – and soon compelled to seek His intervention.

Praise God, He intervened.

Today, my wife and I devote time to those things of which we had been long negligent. Freed from the pursuit of wealth and accolades, our time and energy are largely devoted to church, family, Bible study, writing and volunteer activities. (Special Olympics are our favorite!)
